Five services, one agreement

Managed Services covers the day-to-day running of your infrastructure. Each element is delivered under the same agreement and billed as a single monthly engagement, so there's no per-incident invoicing and no argument about whether something is in scope.

What managed IT actually changes

Most Irish SMEs arrive at managed services from one of two places. Either IT has been handled by whoever in the office is best with computers, and that person now has a real job they cannot do. Or there is an incumbent provider who answers when called but never gets ahead of anything, so the same faults keep recurring. The difference with a managed engagement is that the work is scheduled rather than triggered. Patching, backup verification, licence renewals, capacity checks and security updates happen on a calendar we hold, not when something breaks badly enough to be noticed. Most of what we do, you should never hear about.

Who this suits

Managed Services fits organisations of roughly 20 to 500 users who depend on their systems but do not have — and do not want — a full internal IT department. We support environments in healthcare, financial services, hosting, professional services and the public sector, several of which carry regulatory obligations around how data is handled. If you are weighing this against hiring internally, the trade-offs are set out in our comparison of in-house versus outsourced IT support, and typical Irish market rates are covered in our IT support pricing guide.

How an engagement starts

We begin with an infrastructure review: what you are running, what state it is in, and what is most likely to fail. That produces a written scope and a fixed monthly cost before anything is signed. Onboarding then runs in parallel with your existing arrangement, so there is no window where nobody is covering you. Documentation is part of the handover, not an extra. You get an asset register, network diagrams and recovery procedures — and they remain yours, which matters if you ever choose to move on.

Security and compliance

We hold ISO 27001:2022 certification, which means our own information security management is independently audited rather than self-declared. For clients, that shows up as documented access control, change management and incident response — the same evidence your auditors will ask you for. It also matters for what is coming. NIS2 significantly widens the number of Irish entities subject to cybersecurity obligations, and many organisations that were out of scope under the previous regime will not be. If that affects you, our NIS2 guide for Irish businesses is the place to start, and information security services covers the work itself.

Beyond day-to-day management

Managed Services handles the running of your estate. When you need to change it — a migration, an office move, a new site — that sits under professional services. Hardware and licensing are handled through procurement, and mobile fleets through mobile device management. Same team, same agreement, no separate supplier to coordinate.

Common questions

What is included in managed IT services? Our managed engagement covers 24/7 network and endpoint monitoring, a dedicated helpdesk, patch and update management, backup verification, hosted infrastructure, and business telephony. It is delivered under a single agreement with a fixed monthly cost rather than billed per incident.
How much do managed IT services cost in Ireland?Pricing depends on user count, the complexity of your environment and which elements you need. We quote a fixed monthly figure after an infrastructure review rather than a per-hour rate. Our pricing guide sets out what drives the number.
Do you only work with businesses in Dublin? We are based in Dublin and support approved service locations in Cork, Galway, Limerick and Waterford, including multi-site environments.
Can you work alongside our existing IT staff?Yes. A common arrangement is co-managed: your internal person or team keeps ownership of systems they know best, and we take monitoring, out-of-hours cover and the specialist work that is hard to justify hiring for. Scope is agreed in writing so responsibilities are unambiguous.
What happens if we want to leave?Your documentation, asset register and recovery procedures belong to you and are handed over. We would rather you stayed because the service is good than because leaving is painful.
Are you certified? We hold ISO 27001:2022 certification for our information security management system, independently audited. Details are on our ISO 27001 page.
